On May 29th, vice mayor Li Yuan met with the delegation led by Canadian Concord Pacific Group board chairman Xu Zhiren and Baodasan Foundation chairman Bao Hongxun in the city hall.
Vice mayor Li first welcomed the visiting delegation, and then introduced the major advantages of Xi’an in history, culture, tourism, science, education, aerospace industry, traffic etc. He said that Xi’an, as a pivot city of the “Belt and Road” strategy, is carrying out the project of “building a larger Xi’an”. As business attraction is the first step, the city is improving governmental service to provide top-class investment environment. It is hoped that Canadian Concord Pacific and Xi’an could start cooperation in city planning and building.
Xu and Bao expressed their thanks for the warm welcome. And they also wished to seize the opportunities brought about by the “Belt and Road” initiative, and to seek opportunities with Xi’an in areas such as metro community, property management, real estate etc.
Present at the meeting were also persons in charge of related fields.
